Point Labaddie Farmers Market
Thursday, August 30, 2018
at Point Labaddie Brewery, 1029 Thiebes Rd. Labaddie MO
Meat, eggs, veggies, flowers, kombucha, herbs, great beer, tasty Filpino fare….
Enjoy the gorgeous weather and beautiful, relaxed, scenic setting of the Point Labaddie Farmers Market. The local, small family farmers are enjoying the market atmosphere that Point Labaddie has to offer and are looking forward to more and more customer visits and relationships being built each week. Currently our hopes are to keep the season going into early October. The weather, the crop availability and the daylight turning into nighttime will determine the actual length of our first season.
Labor Day weekend is upon us. Please consider starting your list, your menu and your shopping with what’s available at the farmers market. Wine Creek Farm, Rosy Buck Farm and Miller’s Organics will have an eclectic array of beautiful, fresh, delicious, seasonal produce.
Stick, Bowl and Roll will have fresh made, traditional Filipino dishes for you to enjoy at the market today.
Alpacas of Troy and Stuart Farm are bringing pastured, non GMO cuts of meat and pastured eggs. Alpacas of Troy specializes in pork cuts including a variety of International Sausages, limited cuts of alpaca and occasional goat meat. They also have alpaca fiber and fiber crafts. Stuart Farm specializes in Heritage breeds such as American Milking Devon and Belted Galloway beeves, Freedom Ranger Chickens and Tamworth Hogs as well as pastured eggs. This week Serena will have a Labor Day Grilling Special – 2 packages of drumsticks, 2 pounds of ground beef for $23.
Cathy of Papillon Perennials will have a beautiful assortment of perennials, pollinators, herbs and succulents.
