Summer Produce Season is starting. Fresh. Local. Seasonal. Honey, Meat, Veggies and More

Point Labaddie Farmers Market
Thursday, June 14, 2018
4:00pm-7:00pm
at Point Labaddie Brewery, 1029 Thiebes Rd, Labadie MO

Summer produce is here. Slowly coming in and ready for harvest! I think it’s the market customers favorite season, maybe? All of our classic, favorite veggies start popping about this time. Enjoy the upcoming summertime harvest. We are all hoping for a long season!
When we get into the summer season a few more weeks, I will be sharing some more recipes, preparation tips and making a few more farm visits! This is the week of summer squash, zucchini, cucumbers and a few surprises. Because it’s just picked before market, sometimes the producer doesn’t know what’s going to be ready until just before market time. What I am enjoying about this market and this vendor and produce list is that we have a unique variety. Not everyone is growing exactly the same veggies and using the same growing methods. I have not seen this at a lot of markets.
Looking forward to sharing the season bounty with all of you!

I hope to continue to update the vendor list and market report as I hear from the vendors. This is what I have thus far…..
